Mentor

UREC understands that learning doesn’t only come from textbooks—it comes from people. That’s why mentorship is a key pillar of everything the club does. Each year, UREC organizes a peer mentorship program that pairs newer members with experienced students who have interned at top firms or participated in case competitions. These mentors guide mentees through everything from resume reviews and mock interviews to how to prepare for real estate-specific recruiting. The club also facilitates faculty and alumni mentorship opportunities through partnerships with the Wood Center, ensuring students can ask questions and get advice from professionals working in real estate finance, brokerage, development, and more. By fostering these relationships early, UREC helps students gain the confidence and clarity they need to pursue meaningful, purpose-driven careers in the industry. Whether you're seeking insight on navigating real estate electives or how to stand out during internship applications, UREC’s mentorship programs ensure you’re never going it alone.
